About Manchester Airport

Manchester Airport is the air travel hub of the North of England.

The busiest airport in the UK outside of London, you can fly pretty much anywhere from here – and flights are generally cheaper from here than from anywhere else in the North.

The airport’s three terminals offer flights to almost 200 destinations across the globe.

Manchester Airport’s two lounges are available to relax in while you wait for your journey to begin. These can be pre-booked and both offer free Wi-Fi, unlimited hot and soft drinks and a selection of wine, beers and spirits.

You can stay the night in one of the many hotels that surround the airport. You can pay a fee to fast track through security, shop in duty free and eat in the vast food courts within the terminal building. Your holiday really does start at the airport here!

Fun fact about Manchester Airport: it is the only airport in the country (other than Heathrow, of course) to boast two runways over 2,999m in length.

Why our Passengers love Manchester Airport

  • You can fly to any continent on the planet, at pretty much any time of day
  • All three terminals have smoking areas that can be used before check-in and after you arrive
  • There is free Wi-Fi across the whole airport
  • Book a conference room at the Concorde Conference Centre
  • Go for a nice meal before you fly!
